Last year Donegal was named the ‘coolest place on the planet’ by National Geographic. Here in Donegal we have always known this but now the world knows it too. And the coolest place is Donegal is of course, none other than Inishowen. Again we have all known this and now the world is getting to know it, thanks to Inishowen Breaks. Inishowen Breaks is a new website showcasing all that is our beautiful peninsula. Tucked away at the very top of the country we are the very ‘head’ of Ireland, and now we are about to go ‘ahead’.

Inishowen Breaks is the brainchild of two Buncrana businessmen and they are already putting Inishowen very much on that all important map. The homepage on their website introduces us:

The Wild Atlantic Way is stunning from beginning to end but surely none more so at it’s very tip here in Inishowen. The entire peninsula is so very beautiful and scenic and the drive around it will stay with you forever. Having grown up here and lived here most of my life, there’s nothing I can’t say to sell this beautiful part of the world. It really is a little haven.
