You are cordially invited to the most whacky and wonderful wedding of the year. The hilarious new comedy play, It’s Wine O’Clock, performs at the Millennium Forum on Thursday 3rd May for one night only.
Created by talented double-act, Rozlyn Sheridan and Teresa McBride, It’s Wine O’Clock is the comedy play that has the Internet buzzing and all Ireland gabbling.
South Armagh farmer’s wife, Vera, is thrilled that her son, Seamus, is getting hitched (to Sharon, a Belfast girl he met on Tinder) … oh, these young folk, and their bonkers belief that an App can lead to ‘appiness! But – surprise, surprise – not everything is going to plan.
A riotous rabble of larger-than-life (yet strangely familiar) characters will be joining Seamus and his blushing bride for a shindig fuelled by the ‘Winebulance’, a boozemobile that’s filled to the brim with numerous brands of supermarket wines and is always ready to provide lashings of liquid refreshment.
Meanwhile, ‘Keep ‘er Lit’, Ireland’s greatest wedding band (in their own minds, at least) have arrived to provide a tune or two on the dancefloor.
Other special guests include the Bridesmaids; the Yummy Mummies; the Grannies; farmers Pat and Eamon; and the irrepressible Nuala and Noleen – always on the look-out for love.
Hectic, hilarious and high in energy, the show involves numerous quick-fire costume changes and a cunning plot with twists and turns a-plenty.
