Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company remount their production of The Cove, the result of a creative collaboration between Echo Echo Artistic Director Steve Batts and acclaimed Belfast-based artist Dan Shipsides. This original piece of dance-theatre was inspired by the hidden Port-a-Doris Cove, near Shrove, on the North Donegal coast. It evokes the landscape, the crags with sea below, the feeling of rock underneath fingertips and the smelling and tasting of sea air. The effort…the challenge…the pleasure…the fear and sense of mortality. This is a chance to see the original work again, with audience seated ‘in the round’, in Echo Echo’s beautiful home studios on Magazine Street.
